Downtown Improvements (CDBG)

The Town of Strasburg is excited about downtown improvements, funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). They incorporate many exciting projects including a Facade Improvement Program, a branding process for the Town, wayfinding signage, a redone public parking lot and more! The CDBG project will also create a new event space for the community that will be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The space is designed to be a welcoming and comfortable venue for residents and guests to congregate for events, celebrations, entertainment or just lunch.

The Town will be programming the space with creative and fun events for all ages, and partnering with groups who want to bring community activities for all to enjoy, such as musical acts, a children’s talent show and movies.

Beyond having a great venue for fun, the pavilion will be able to be used as a retail space supporting small business and entrepreneurship for events such as the Strasburg Farmers’ Market, an artisan fair or pop up retail operations.
