Chief Tim Sutherly

Chief Tim Sutherly joined the Strasburg Police Department after serving 17 years with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office; serving in patrol and investigations before being promoted to sergeant and then lieutenant.  Prior to Warren County, the chief served in the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist and received an honorable discharge in 1990 at the rank of sergeant. Chief Sutherly is a graduate of Strasburg High School and Liberty University, possessing a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. In 2012, he graduated from the 250th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA.  He most recently received his Master's of Science in Criminal Justice and Administration from Liberty University.
