MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE STRASBURG TOWN COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2007, AT 7:15 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE TOWN HALL.

COUNCIL MEMBERS present:  Mayor Crisman and Council Members Le Vine, Mauck, Nicholson, Rinker, Terndrup, Wallace, and Whittle.  Absent:  Vice Mayor Taylor.

Mayor Crisman called the Public Hearings to order and said the purpose of the Public Hearings was to receive citizen input on the following items:

• SUP2007-01 Steve DuBrueler requests a Special Use Permit to allow for a construction office with modular model home sales and storage.  The property is currently zoned X-Transitional (X), is identified as Parcel Identification Number (PIN):  016 ((A)) 174B and is located at 458 Radio Station Road.

Being no speakers, the Public Hearing closed at 7:16 p.m.

• SUP2007-02 First Bank.  Strasburg Green, LLC on behalf of First Bank requests a Special Use Permit to allow for a sales center.  The property is currently zoned X-Transitional (X).  The property is identified as Parcel Identification Number (PIN):  016 ((A)) 147 and is located at the corner of Radio Station Road and Old Valley Pike.

Joe Herbert, 436 W. King St., Strasburg, VA:  Mr. Herbert asked specifically what a sales center is.

Scott Rosenfeld, 509 Jefferson St., Strasburg, VA:  Mr. Rosenfeld explained the sales center would be the office for sales at Strasburg Green.
