Payment Instructions

To Pay Online

You can make payments online at officialpayments.com.*

You will need your account number and amount due available when processing online payments.

1. Click "Local Payments" and then enter our jurisdiction code 9004.
2. Then click "Make a Payment"and use the drop down menu under "Payment Type" and make a payment selection.**

*This is the only online payment center authorized by the Town of Strasburg for processing online payments. Payments processed via any other online method may result in additional fees/penalties and collection procedures.

**IF you need to make payments other than tax or utility, you may choose the tax payment option and indicate what type of payment you're making (ex: Permit Fee for 174 East King Street) into the account number field. 

To Pay By Phone:

Customers have the ability to make phone payments via the Official Payments Call Center at: 

1-800-487-4567

Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CT

Please have your account number and payment method available.  

Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Spanish.

Then select Option 4 for Local Payments (tax, utility, etc.).

You must listen to all of the options and then press "4"

and hold for a live representative.

To Pay In Our Office:

Payments can be made at our office at 174 E. King Street

between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

To Pay Via Mail: 

If you wish to mail your payment, please send to:

Please include your stub and/or account number with your payment.

To Pay After Hours: 

A night drop box is located in our foyer beside the bulletin board.

Envelopes are provided for your payment.
 

Returned Payments:

If your check is returned, a $35.00 charge will be added and the payment is voided. 

Cut-Off
If your account is in danger of cut-off*, you can stop it by:

• Paying the full amount of the past due portion of your bill.
• Making payment arrangements. You may visit Town Hall (8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.) to apply for a deferred payment plan.

*Please be aware it can take up to 10 days for your payment to post to your account if you choose to pay by mail or at an alternate unauthorized pay agency. Termination of service will occur if payment has not been posted to your account by the stated cut-off date.
