*** Stay tuned for our next session! ***
The Strasburg Civic Academy is a hands-on, interactive program designed to educate and engage residents in the workings of local government. Through monthly sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how decisions are made, how tax dollars are allocated, and how various departments contribute to the daily operations and long-term success of the Town of Strasburg.
This academy provides a unique opportunity for residents to interact with town leadership, ask questions, and participate in discussions on budgeting, economic development, public works, public safety, and more. Each session is led by elected officials, department heads, and key staff, offering an inside look at the challenges and opportunities within the town government.
By the end of the program, participants will have a well-rounded knowledge of municipal operations and be better equipped to engage in community initiatives, serve on boards or committees, and advocate for the future of Strasburg. The program concludes with a graduation ceremony recognizing participants' commitment to civic learning and leadership.
