communicopia

a harvest is more than fruits, or roots, or vegetables—

a harvest is collaborative sustenance—cooperative survival.

want a harvest?

till with vision;

sow compassion;

water with empathy;

fertilize with patience;

prune with kindness;

tend with love;

share

and always remember

to give thanks

for every blessing.

if you can do these things—

do them well—

and teach your young to follow,

you will discover, in the end,

that you have reaped far more than produce:

pride, purpose, community, faith, and future

will dwell with you and within you

through ample years and lean—

an abundant yield

for generations to come.
