Public Hearing scheduled during this meeting:

• Amendment to Town Code Chapter 86-39. Shutting of water for failure to pay bill:  
  Pursuant to Code of Virgnia of 1950, as amended, Sections 15.2-107, 15.2-1427, 15.2-2119 and 15.2122.

  The STRASBURG TOWN COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall located at 174 East King Street, Strasburg, Virginia, 22657 at which time the public shall have the right to present oral and written testimony on the proposed amendments to Town Code Chapter 86-39, Shutting off water for failure to pay bill.

  A copy of the proposed ordinance is available from the Town Clerk, located in Town Hall, 174 East King Street, Strasburg, Virginia, during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or be emailing akeller@strasburgva.com or calling (540) 465-9197 Ext. 124.

  At this hearing, all persons desiring to express their views concerning these matters will be heard. Persons requiring special accommodation should contact the Clerk of Council at (540) 465-9197 Ext. 124, five days in advance of the meeting.

The Public Hearing for Rezoning (REZ24-002), Dunmore Land, LLC & Colley Block Road/Radio Station Ind., has been rescheduled for the March 12, 2024 Town Council meeting.
